Setup
NomadPadRemote (iOS / iPadOS) requires the companion macOS app, NomadPadServer.
- Download the macOS app from GitHub Releases.
- Launch it on your Mac.
- Make sure your Mac and iPhone / iPad are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Pair using the QR code or pairing code shown on screen.
Common Questions
Q. My Mac isn’t showing up
- First, confirm that your iPhone and Mac are on the same Wi-Fi network. Separate networks (guest SSIDs, or split 5GHz / 2.4GHz) will block pairing.
- Confirm the macOS server app is running.
- On iPhone / iPad, check that local network access is allowed.
Q. Cursor control doesn’t work
- Open macOS System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
- Make sure NomadPadServer has permission.
Q. QR pairing doesn’t work
- Make sure camera permission is allowed on iPhone / iPad.
- Try entering the pairing code manually.
Q. The cursor feels laggy
- This is usually network noise. Try 5GHz Wi-Fi or rebooting your router.
Q. Pricing plans
- Monthly plan: $1.99 / month (auto-renewing)
- A 7-day free trial is offered to new subscribers. If you do not cancel during the trial, you will be charged automatically at the end of the trial and converted to the monthly plan.
Q. How do I cancel my subscription?
- On iPhone, go to Settings → your name at the top → Subscriptions, select NomadPad, and cancel.
- You can cancel the same way during a free trial — you keep access until the trial ends, and no charge is made.
Q. Subscription or restore issue
- Make sure you are signed in with the correct Apple Account.
- Try Restore Purchases again from the app.
- If the problem continues, contact support and include your device model and iOS version.
